Privacy

Bible Games is free to play and does not ask who you are. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no ads, no third-party analytics or advertising kits, and nothing is ever sold or shared. This policy covers both biblegames.xyz and the Bible Games app.

What is recorded

To see which games people enjoy, the site records a small number of anonymous usage events on our own server:

• opening the site or app, and viewing the home page
• starting a game, and leaving it
• starting and finishing a level
• whether you are playing on the web or in the Android app

Once per visit we also record what kind of device you are on: the browser and operating system your browser announces to every website it loads, whether that is a phone, a tablet or a desktop, and your screen size. And if you followed a link to get here, we record the website it came from and any campaign tags in the address. We keep only the site name (for example youtube.com), not the full address you came from, and not the search terms it might contain. It tells us which games run on which devices and whether anyone found us, and it is the ordinary information a web request carries.

Each event carries a random identifier that your browser or device generates for itself and stores locally. It is not your advertising ID, phone number, IMEI or any other device serial. It is a number we made up, and it means nothing outside Bible Games. Its only purpose is to count one player as one player instead of counting every visit twice. It is never used for advertising or for tracking you across other apps or websites, and it is not linked to any other information.

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, location, or the contents of anything you type. The app asks for no permissions beyond network access.

Where it goes, and for how long

Events are sent to a server we run ourselves in Germany. Nothing is passed to an advertising network or an analytics company. Events are deleted automatically after 12 months. Alongside them we keep one summary row per random identifier — when it was first and last seen, and the browser and screen size it reported — which is deleted once that identifier has gone 12 months without being seen.

Saved on your device only

Your progress in each game, your sound setting and the random identifier are stored in your browser's own storage and do not leave your device except as described above. Clearing your browser data, or uninstalling the app, erases all of it, and a fresh identifier is generated the next time you play.

Children

Bible Games is suitable for children. It contains no advertising, no in-app purchases and no links out to social media.

We never try to work out who anyone is. What is recorded describes a browser: which games it opened, what kind of device it is, which link it followed. It stays on one server we run ourselves, and it is never combined with information from anywhere else, never used to build a profile, never used to target advertising, and never passed to anyone. If you would rather it were not recorded at all, clearing your browser data (or uninstalling the app) erases the identifier and everything already collected stops being connected to anything.
